a chicken tikka masala varies from house to house khan's offers their own recipe
these medium dishes are slightly spiced and cooked generously in a curry sauce
fairly hot curries which are spiced with a hint of lemon flavour
these are very mild dishes, cooked in a thick creamy sauce with a distinctive coconut flavour
garlic based lentils
The curry was nothing spectacular (not bad at all), but the chapati was the best I’ve had in ages. Fresh, soft and thin. Food arrived on time and was warm.
Wasnt a phall, not even a vindaloo disappointed no second chances
Very disappointed with the food. Onion bhaji all dough, biryani very bland, ans lamb in madras was awful. Will never use them again.
The 3rd time we ordered from here. First two have been brilliant but this time the food was average. Way too much salt in the Tarka Dhal and Saag Paneer was quite slimey and tasteless. Very kind to offer a free Cobra. Not quite sure why you don't get any complimentary mango chutney, lime pickle or raita as this is the norm these days across most curry houses in London. Having said all of the above it is still the best curry house we have found in Clapham. Better than Akash and Clapham Tandoori!!! The gentleman who delivered the meal was also extremely well dressed and very nice. The devil is in the detail!!!!
Absolutely nothing authentic about it. Who gives biryani without curd/ raita?
It was not aloo chat.. It was terrible.
[RESUBMITTED]As always, the best!
Great food when fancy some Indian. Could be more attention oriented at the order details as forgot the rice ordered. A bummer when having a curry and forgetting the rice portion
While the food, speed and value were all good, the order was not complete - I had ordered a large bottle of beer (£4.95) which was paid for but not included. This reduced the overall enjoyable experience of the order and meal
didn't get my free beer!
I've had food from many of the Indian restaurants in the Wandsworth/Battersea area and Khan's is the best. I've been a customer of theirs for the last three years or so and the food and service is consistently excellent.
The food was great and fast, but the delivery person short changed me.
possibly the worst indian? meal we have ever had should have sent back most of it ended up feeding the bin. almost completely tasteless. I do not think the tandoori chicke had ever been near a tandoor. not to be repeated
